Young Adults of St. Fidelis

The Young Adults of St. Fidelis is a brand new initiative that seeks to bring together young adults from the ages 18-35, married or single, and provide for them a place to grow in authentic faith among authentic friendships. These gatherings will be centered around four primary categories — Socials, Formation, Prayer and Service.

What to Expect
Socials — these are everything for us, because they not only provide us with engaging, refreshing and new things to do but they will also give you a chance to interact and network. We're all about building friendships, and what better way to live out your call to holiness with a community of people who share that friendship with you? The same interests, hobbies, and joys. These nights can be everything from Trivia Nights, Seasonal events, Ice Cream Nights, Movie Nights, Pints with a Priest, Sporting events, concerts, camping trips and more.
Prayer — prayer is the foundation of the group, because it forges together what we have built in our socials and welds that with the faith that we all profess. The prayers that we share, the way we worship, the way we come together will help in building up your faith. These nights are geared to help you fall in love with faith, so that you are prepared as a young adult to live it boldly. Prayer nights will include candlelight masses, prayer circles, lectio divina nights, Eucharistic Adoration, Worship Nights and eventually, weekend retreats.
Formation — If prayer is the forming of our hearts in the faith, then we've envisioned these nights to be forming of our minds, our intellect. These will be nights that inform us about the faith, inform us about what we believe and why believe it. We'll dive into scripture for bible study nights, theology topics, green giant nights where we will uncover the beauty of the Catholicism in the Catechism. All of this geared to help you see the faith in light of Theology and discover the answers to the questions you might have. You can expect Speaker Series nights, theology on Tap, Bible Studies, Faith & Culture talks, Catholicism 101's and more.
Service — You've already got a ton on your plate, but don't let this part keep you from coming. Our plan for these days would be simple service projects in and around the community. Service work has a way of speaking to the humility that is placed within us, it brings it out and places it at the front of our lives. If we can do that together than God can really move in other areas of our life. These days will include tending to different projects, simple clean ups, ministry to the poor, the elderly and then mission trips.
